Silicon Valley Group’s NATSEC100 list, which shares the top venture-funded startups and non-traditionals with evidence of their technology’s use in national security, highlighted the growth in the dual-use and defense-focused sectors. This year’s cohort has collectively raised more than $52 billion in private funding to date–up nearly 20 percent from 2023. NSIN alumni company Shield AI again cracked the top ten to take the number three spot, bringing them up from the number nine spot in 2023.

The 12-month Immersive Commercial Acquisition Program (ICAP) fellowship will help acquisition professionals harness commercial technology innovation. Participants will train and learn about Other Transactions (OTs), which can be beneficial for acquiring technologies from nontraditional defense contractors.

Companies with the ability to prototype an integrated, electrolysis-based hydrogen production, storage, and distribution system may submit their solutions to DIU for the opportunity to receive an OT award.
