DoD recruiters and hiring managers can receive no-fee support from NSIN to connect with an elite pool of talent — some of North America’s top computing students — at the North American Championship (NAC) Virtual Career Fair on Feb. 15.

Atomos Space develops propulsion transport vehicles that enable the government and private industry to maneuver satellites and space vehicles. With this funding, the company is expanding its team and taking its first mission to space.

|
Hydrosat provides thermal infrared data and analytics to government and private industry, helping optimize decision-making around land and water use, crop management, and drought and fire management. With the awarded Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract, the team will work with AFWERX to adapt Hydrosat’s surface temperature data to the mission needs of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).

Elementus develops a blockchain data intelligence platform that allows government and private industry to securely leverage blockchain and investigate misuse of blockchain technology. With this funding, the company will grow its team and expand product development.

Innovate new methods for searching and discovering geospatial content in the geoSpatial Environment for Access, Retrieval & Content Hosting (gSEARCH) Challenge, sponsored by NSIN in partnership with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Finalists are eligible for a potential award of up to $75,000 in federal funding.
Applications close Feb. 20.

Innovate the generation of synthetic (SynGen) training data for military computer vision algorithms. Finalists are eligible for a potential federal funding award of up to $75,000.

|
Innovators with technologies for integrating sets of commodity devices, creating synthetic data sets, or building prototypes of metamaterial antennae may receive Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) grants from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Submissions are due March 7.

Innovators with scientific or technological solutions that address a range of challenges facing the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, Defense Health Agency, Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Microelectronics Activity, or Missile Defense Agency may receive SBIR/STTR grants. Submissions are due March 8.

The Griffiss Institute’s HUSTLE Defense Accelerator offers startups with artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), cyber, quantum, and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) solutions the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship skills and understand how to work with the government. Participants are eligible for stipends and may compete for demo day prizes of up to $350,000. The Griffiss Institute is hosting an Ask Me Anything (AMA) for startups on Feb. 17. Applications for the accelerator are due March 1.

Connect with government, industry, and the broader innovation and intelligence communities to exchange ideas about government programs, resources, and opportunities for geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) innovation. Innovators can attend virtually or in-person at The GEOINT Hub at the Technology Entrepreneur Center, Inc. (T-REX) in St. Louis.

The U.S. Army xTechInternational competition offers eligible international small businesses and academic institutions with advanced manufacturing and materials innovations an opportunity to engage with the DoD, win part of a $530,000 prize purse, and potentially participate in the xTech accelerator program.
