Industria Imperium and Titan Bioworks each won $100,000 in the NSIN Starts Combat Feeding pitch competition to continue developing food and biotech innovations for the Combat Feeding Division (CFD) of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM).

St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones declared the week of Aug. 7-14 National Security Innovation Week in St. Louis. In Mayor Jones' proclamation, she emphasized the impact of the NSIN network on increasing economic and social development in the greater St. Louis community.

Companies with tech to lower corrosion repair costs for the aging infrastructure of the Navy’s land-based bulk water and fuel storage tanks can receive prize money plus potential follow-on opportunities in this NSIN Starts Pitch Competition. A prize pool of $500,000 will be awarded to the top four companies at a live demonstration in Southern California, with the first-place team receiving $200,000. Applications are due today.

Technology solutions for a non-invasive, real-time intracranial pressure (ICP) monitor to distinguish normal from elevated ICP with high accuracy, while capable of functioning in austere environments. An award amount of $1.5 million is available for selected solutions. |
