About the Finalists

  • AICrete, Corp. employs advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms to optimize concrete mix generating new designs that not only meet or exceed performance criteria (such as strength, air content, and slump) but also reduce both costs and the carbon footprint of the concrete to support the DoD’s mission for clean energy.

  • Bucephalus provides the DoD with an innovative, efficient, and compliant AI-driven platform that allows customers to parachute in predictive and generative AI into their workflows.

  • Conductor AI helps users in large organizations by leveraging the latest AI advancements to navigate paperwork, opaque processes, and everyday compliance challenges through attribution and model evaluation.

  • CrowdSmart, Inc. develops technology that creates an infrastructure for applying collective intelligence and AI to problem-solving and planning and allows rapid generation and evaluation of multiple planning scenarios to compare and contrast outputs to determine the ideal function..

  • Hedral generates building geometry from a project’s earliest stages through detailed design and enhances construction planning and operations by providing generative technology for design creation and editing across multiple disciplines.

  • Motivf Corporation develops an AI-powered Military Installation Agent, Artie, that will collect and harmonize facility and land-use regulations, Unified Facilities Criteria, and Installation Master Planning guidelines to rapidly analyze extensive existing documentation to provide a consistent basis for compliance with DoD, Navy, and site-specific regulations.

  • Prezerv Technologies automates the interpretation of complex radar signals from commercially available 3D phased-array radar scanners, enabling the generation of accurate 3D underground maps and geospatial analytics in a simple, fast, and cost-effective manner.

  • Runwise Inc. automates energy reduction measures for residential and commercial buildings by replacing outdated static control hardware with a low-cost, easy-to-install software-driven management system that enables end-users and the DoD to optimize energy consumption.

  • Sloop proposes JACK, Joint Artificial Construction Knowledge, a unique AI-powered platform to analyze, automate, and enhance every blueprint, timelines, and specification and other key documents at the core of every construction project which provides the DoD with an automation service designed to support workflows.

About National Security Innovation Network

NSIN is a program office in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), nested within the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). We are set up to collaborate with a wide variety of innovators to include universities, researchers, students, entrepreneurs and start-ups. We create opportunities for collaboration across communities and connect those that might not traditionally work in national security. Together, we help drive national security innovation and develop technologies that directly support the individuals responsible for protecting our country.

For more information or interview requests with Team NSIN, please contact us at media@nsin.mil.
