The National Security Innovation Network continues to change how the Department of Defense (DoD) solves problems.

Today, I’m excited to share the past year’s accomplishments from our team of talented, accomplished, and passionate leaders and partners.

Since our founding in 2016, NSIN has matured into a nationwide network of mission partners, startups, academic institutions, large and small businesses, and nonprofits collaborating with us to drive innovations that will give our Armed Forces technological advantage against any adversary.

Through the pages of our FY22 Year in Review, you can learn more about our work and the valuable, life-saving innovations our programs and collaborations helped spawn.

NSIN introduces talented undergraduate and graduate students to DoD problem-solving opportunities and national security careers through our academic programs and fellowships. We also match entrepreneurs with DoD lab scientists to leverage existing intellectual property to solve new challenges.

In summary, during FY22NSIN has helped solve problems to make the world better, safer, and stronger.

We’ve also only just begun. NSIN is poised to scale and accelerate the growth and adoption of innovations from diverse and non-traditional organizations in every part of our nation.

Your feedback and partnership in this critical work is welcome – and needed. Nothing could be more important than our military deterrent to adversaries who would diminish or destroy our democracy.
